A couple of weeks ago I saw a picture of an old war hammer and decided that would be a super fun build, so we headed off to Lowes. The building process was actually harder then I anticipated. Since the hammer needed a real thick head for smashing objects, it took cutting and gluing multiple layers of wood together to get the result I was looking for. Once we had the right look and feel we sanded it down to make it super smooth. Then the final step after it was sanded down, we put multiple layers of wood stain on it to finish it off. Here is a video of it in action!
